A HOTEL WITH CHARM

DECOR

The original use for what was used the Casona of s. XVIII and the castle of the XI century that constitute our charming rural hotel justifies that it has thick walls of ashlar masonry, bars, gates and splendid wooden beams that have been restored and preserved with the utmost care.

For the rehabilitation of the Castillo de Somaén, XXI century architecture has been incorporated through large skylights and furniture by designers such as Le Corbusier, Charles Eames, Norman Foster, Vilá, Ricardo Bofill or Philip Starck.

  • Where to start. the hotel is amazing. because of its location, its decoration, because you do not expect that in the middle of I do not know where there is something like this ... The treatment has been excellent, a predisposition from the beginning to make your stay unforgettable. you can see that they are professionals and people with experience. As for the food I will say I have eaten in few places so well. Highlight their pastries (the apple and peach tart are awesome). The breakfast was very good. You can enjoy a very nice terrace for a refreshment and if you want to take a dip the pool is very nice. After all, a place to repeat.

HUNTING

There are plenty of game reserves in the province of Soria and many of them are very close to our charming Hotel. The hunting activity in Soria is an ideal space, enhanced by the low population density and the beauty of its mountains.

Both the large game, which has a long tradition in this province with wild boars, and the smaller one, abundant in partridges, quail, rabbit, hares … attract to this area a good number of hunters from many points of Spain.

GOLF

There are two camps within a half hour drive from Somaen. The 9 hole course of Morón de Almazán and the golf course Augusta Golf de Calatayud in Zaragoza, 18 holes and with a must visit to its historic center.

SPA OF THERMAL WATERS

In the Pallarés Baths of Alhama de Aragón you can feel the history surrounding them. More than 2,000 years ago we know the therapeutic properties of the Spa.

FISHING

In the river Jalón that runs all its term and one of whose meanders surrounds our Hotel with charm, you can fish its famous trouts and barbs.
