One of the most common questions we hear at the front desk is: what can we do with our children in Barcelona?

The truth is that the city offers a wide variety of options adapted to different types of custmers: adventurers who travel alone, couples, group of friends, young people, adults, families, etc. In today’s post we will propose, for all those people who travel with children, some ways to have fun in the city with them. Many of them will be applicable to other cities or at least can serve you as inspiration.

-Montjuïc is a very large area with great variety of places to go. It has the area of plaza Spain, with the magic fountain of Montjuïc and is a large area where they can run, climb stairs, etc. On the other hand back of the monumental building (MNAC – National Museum of art of Catalunya – not highly recommended for children), we also find the Olympic area, there is the castle of Montjuïc, a very curious garden of cactus called gardens of Costa y Llobera, etc. It is ideal to navigate by car or with the tourist bus, because of the large extension.

Tibidabo. Surely you’ve heard of the emblematic park amusement the Tibidabo, which offers amazing views of the entire city.

-Between the city center and la Barceloneta, the best-known beach of the capital, you can find the Parc de la Ciutadella, with a huge and precious fountain, a lake with ducks, etc. Why don’t go play for a while with our children?

-If you are football fans, you cannot miss a visit to the stadium of the FC Barcelona. TheCamp Nou Experience is an ideal opportunity to learn at first hand, the history of the boat, visit the Museum, see the facilities, sitting on the dock as if you were a player and see the changing rooms. Today it is the best-selling Museum of Barcelona.

Park Güell is also a good choice to visit something unique and emblematic of the city, but at the same time that your children to enjoy being in a very large outdoor park.

-Rent bikes (at the hotel have two at your disposal, but there are many companies throughout Barcelona dedicated to rent them). If you are interested, there are some guided tours with bicycles, which can give you the option of visiting the city enjoying the sport.

-Go to the Zoo. See live animals it makes children happy and can also serve as learning.

-Museum Blau is a museum that is dedicated to the natural sciences and is very focused on children. If you go to the Museum, can take advantage of and walk in the Park of the Forum, located just off.

-CosmoCaixa is a Museum in which children can experience science, because it allows to play all the items that are exposed and learn by playing with them.
